THE MENTAL
HEALTH
INITIATIVE

Healthy children make happier families & stronger communities

The Mental Health Initiative supports Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and mental health programs for youth in our most vulnerable communities.

EmpowerHealth joined forces with pioneering healthcare companies that give back funds to support the well-being of youth K-12th grade, youth in our Juvenile Justice System, and youth associated with our foster care system.

EmpowerHealth's Mental Health Initiative does two things:

1. Provides funding for generic drug memberships, personalized doctor care, and low-cost teletherapy access from your phone, tablet or computer.  Our goal is reach as many underserved youths as possible by partnering with organizations in our community such as: Boys & Girls Club, Homeboy Industries, YMCA, VIP: Violence Intervention Program, Juvenile Justice System, VIP and LACOE.

2. Provides funding for Social Emotional Learning (SEL) programs and educational materials that support both during and after-school programs for our most vulnerable children ages 5th-12th grade.
